Islamic supremacists flex muscles in West Dinajpur; Hindus terrified

Dreadful activities of Islamic supremacists are going on without stinting amid West Dinajpur (district) in West Bengal, prominent Indian state and known to be a Left bastion till the last week. On May 18, 2011 around 2.30 pm a crowd of almost 100 Hindus (of Matua community), coming from village Bishtopur, sounding trumpets and chanting “Hari Bol” was going through the village Biswanathpur, P.S. Kumargunj.

Problem started while the procession was going past the village mosque. All of a sudden a pebble came out of the mosque and struck the forehead of an innocent female devotee in the first row. She started bleeding profusely, got unconscious soon and was admitted to Barahar Hospital.

In the mean time, Hindu Samhati workers were informed and thanks to their excellence, police was informed and RAF was assigned in the locality in due course.

But crises refused to end there. One more incident took place following this. A group of people was moving towards the crematorium of Biswanathpur village chanting “Hari Bol”. Muslims from the local mosque threatened the group and also said harsh steps would be taken if they dared to chant any longer. To steer clear of danger, Hindus stopped chanting and went to the crematory.
